Eighth rankedAnyang (4-5) crushed at home 9th ranked Samsung Thunders (2-7) by 43 points 102-59 , which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Samsung Thunders. Anyang dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Samsung Thunders ' 34 and made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Anyang especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Byung-Jun Bae (188-1990) supported him with 17 points and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Anyang players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) did not help to save the game for Seoul Thunders . The former international forward Junghyun Lee (191-1987) added 8 points and 5 assists for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Anyang moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KCC Egis. Seoul Thunders at the other side keep the ninth position with seven games lost.
